lucid dreaming
This one is the most promising in my opinion.
The major difference between dreams and reality as described on this website is that we approach dreams from the waking world, and we don't know of such a world in here.
Apart from that, the similarities are striking.
When a dream becomes lucid it means you become semi-aware that what you are experiencing is thought up, usually resulting in some form of control over the dream.
The more you become aware that it is all a dream, the bigger your influence. But become too aware that you are just dreaming and the dream is gone (you wake up). Similar to how the world might seize to exist if you would become too aware of the truth.
How do you become aware that a dream is really a dream? What turns a dream into a lucid dream? What is the exact difference between dreams and lucid dreams to our minds?
